Every Child Deserves a Stage

1. Our Philosophy

These rules are in place to ensure a positive, safe, and organized experience for every student. Thank you for your cooperation in creating an environment where young musicians can thrive.

2. Quick Summary

  • 1 make-up class offered per month
  • Payments due on the 1st of each month
  • Late fee: $15 after 5 days
  • No food in the studios
  • Closed: December 20th to January 5th

3. Calendar

Our school is closed for the Christmas holidays from December 20th to January 5th.

4. Payments

  • Registration fees include studio equipment and the end-of-year concert.
  • Accepted payment methods are Interac, debit/credit card, cash, and PayPal.
  • Registration fees are due on the 1st of the month.
  • To cancel your enrollment, written notice must be submitted at least 1 week before the start of the following month. Cancellations received after this deadline will result in the next month's fees being charged in full.
  • All fees are non-refundable.
  • Prices displayed are before taxes. Applicable taxes will be added to the final invoiced amount.

5. Cancelled or Missed Lessons

  • Registration reserves a fixed time slot each week.
  • If an absence is not provided with at least 24 hours’ notice, the class is canceled, and the student is responsible for the cost.
  • We offer one free make-up class per month. Please notify us 24 hours in advance to schedule a make-up class.
  • We offer the last week of the month as a flex week to make up classes missed due to bad weather and excused absences.
  • Classes canceled without at least 24 hours’ notice and missed make-up classes cannot be rescheduled.
  • Please note: Only one make-up class is offered per month. Any additional cancellations beyond the first will result in a lost class and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

6. Arrival and Departure

  • We ask parents or guardians to drop off children in front of the studios 5 minutes before the start of the class, and to pick them up immediately after the end of the class.

7. Observation and Guests

  • To support our young musicians’ learning, parents are not allowed in the studios during class hours. We make exceptions during trial and first lessons.

8. Studio Rules

  • Water bottles (or thermoses, etc.) must have a closed lid and be labeled with a name.
  • No chewing gum or food is permitted in the studios. If a child needs a snack between classes, they are asked to eat before or after class.
  • The school is not responsible for theft on the premises. We ask that you do not bring valuables (such as cell phones, game consoles, iPods, iPads, or other electronic accessories) or ensure they are properly secured.
  • The school has no tolerance for bullying or disrespect toward other students or teachers.
